Personality:Kami Baku is extremely aggressive and cold-blooded. Since his childhood, Kami has proven himself a ruthless killer, merciless like most magicians. He began to exhibit changes at the age of 8; rather than killing animals or insects as he promised in his journal, he instead forges an alliance with other magicians. Throughout the first half of his training, whomever he defeated, he killed without mercy. His only sign of mercy is when he let his comrades live, taking delight at the notion of his comrades being weaker than him as punishment enough. After his defeat at the hands of his teammates, Kami tearfully explains to his friends that his natural personality forced him to be ruthless and that he never had the chance to be anything else (implying that he could have been kinder and more merciful). From then on, Kami softened up and occasionally showed compassion to his teammates. In addition, he traveled to Fiore to start a new life. He swore that he would kill any magician that ever stood in his way with no feelings and pure ruthlessness unless they prove their worth.

Kami is a cold but perverted and his sole purpose of existence is to hone his fighting skills by battling and destroying strong foes. He rarely displays any sign of pervertedness, aside from occasional stares, and almost peaks. He takes his training very seriously, and deals brutally with those who dare interrupt him, as shown in his battle against his teamates. Occasionally, he likes to sneak into changing rooms to stare at the girls. In combat, Kami almost never resorts to his true strength since he is yet to find an opponent who is to withstand the full extent of his powers.

Kami is presented as an extremely smug, bad tempered, egotistical, rebellious, fiercely independent and arrogant individual who believes that he's the strongest above all else. Kami is very prideful and thinks very highly of himself, labeling everyone else around him as inferior "junk". He has always been shown to hold a rivalry with his friends, but aside from them, Kami happens to have hatred for everyone besides heroes, since he feels that scum are standing in the way of his goal to become the strongest. Kami looks down on them, believing himself to be superior to them in every way, shape, and form. However, a notable aspect of his personality he shows in battle was that he seemed to have some degree of respect for enemies, since they created a challenge for him. His favorite food is chocolate.

Likes: Fighting: Kami likes to fight and practices to become a great warrior.
Torture: He intends to use memories when he torturing his enemies.
Superiority: He loves feeling more powerful than all others.
Chocolate: He likes to eat chocolate of all types.
Women: He absolutely loves women and stare at them when he knows no one is looking. He sneaks in changing rooms because he is obsessed with breast.

Dislikes: Intimidation: Kami dislikes Intimidating people and have a drive to kill them.
Assassins: He also dislikes men who are sent to kill him and is willing to kill assassins in the most brutal way possible.
Disrespectful people: He dislikes people who disrespect his training.
Phantom guild: He hates the phantom guild members.
Losing: He mostly dislikes getting defeated by other people, which awakens his mind state that kills anyone unable to match with his lightning speed and quick memory attacks.
Being Drunk: He hates sake because it causes him to pass out and automatically awaken his mind state killing innocent people.

Kami has Black hair that moves with the wind and has two spikes from it sticking out on opposing sides of his bandana. He wears red gloves made of silk that stretch up to his elbows.

History

History: Kami was once a young member of a city outside of Fiore when he ran away and found his potential, he worked alongside this city in secret organizations, as the youngest member. He later joins the Alpha dogs operations while battling alongside, and and, he remains for his teenage years. Kami had always lied to people in order to get the food and housing that he needed to survive. Kami taught himself magic. Kami started off remembering the attacks used in the Grand Magic Games. After traveling to the Fiore and he completed his training. His only partner is an ape that can talk that he met when he was 5 and has been his friend ever since. His ape’s name is Burdock and he found him as a cub. Kami used Burdock to travel everywhere he needed to go. Kami received his hoodie from a thug he defeated and used the thug to practice creating an illusion on Burdock showing the death of the thug.

In Fiore, Kami first makes an appearance in publicly as his 12 year old. Upon arrival, Kami Is confronted and easily defeats his first enemy with his trained illusion magic preventing his enemy from hitting him. Kami slept in the alley of a coffee shop and is confronted by a hobo. The hobo tells him of a great dragon that could possibly attack the town. He then got up and searched for a guild to help prepare for the fight. He then arrives at the guild Alpha guild. Once he arrives, Kami hates the look in one of the members named Taihele's eyes. He assaults him quickly and is easily defeated because he could see straight through the illusions. He makes a promise to Taihele that he will defeat him and a new rivalry is born. After giving his appeal and demonstrates his abilities, Kami joins the guild. After mastering these new forms of memory make he began to do official missions across the city of Fiore.
