Personality:
Lycca is a girl like any other. She's at a rather average intelligence, though at times, arguably a lower level. She has a good amount of potential, but has yet to master the magic she has. This leaves her with low self-esteem from the frustration and the act she has 'two left feet'. Lycca can't dance, because she has very little grace. She fumbles her steps a lot and could trip easily over something as tiny as a pebble. She isn't sure WHY she's like this, but figures she must simply lack the feminine grace in her DNA

She is rather optimistic. She can look at things in a positive light and aspire to make herself feel better through these whims. Unfortunately, it's hard to make herself feel better, when she's constantly messing up everything she tries. She does apologize when things go wrong. In fact she OVER apologizes. It's not like she intentionally tries to mess things up, often times her heart is in the right place, but her way of going about it is what puts her in the wrong. .

At first, Lycca tends to be a bit shy. She fidgets and avoids most social events. She prefers to sit in a corner and read books or study, as well as train. Once people know her, she's a bit more active and is often busy-boded and overworking herself to help others.

She wears a variation of blue jeans for her pants or a blue skirt (matching her blue and white color schemes. She wears tennis shoes or open-toed 1-inch shoes. Her fairy tail mark is actually teal. She likes to wear black or white socks or stockings, depending on her day to day routine. Her hair always has a small frog-hair pin on the left side, almost blending in with her hair color. No notable marks or scars can be seen.

History

History:
Lycca was born to an average woman and a mage. The man's name was Dante, but he was only around for a short while, before he vanished. Yes, he had been there in the beginning, but no he didn't stay. He and Lycca's mother had a falling out, but that was not important. In fact, Lycca barely remembers her father anyways and from what she does remember, he was not the nicest man. ANYWAYS.

Her days were spent with her loving mother. No siblings had been born and Lycca was the pure focus of the single mother's every day life. They were always together, though back then, she could barely notice her mother's disdain and strain. Children were always clueless to such things. At least when she started school, her mother got some time alone.

At school, Lycca was often distracted; her mind focusing on other things. However, as the years passed, she found her own passion: her bow and arrow. With an agreement with her mother, Lycca was allowed to take up archery on one condition: a great report card. Excited and determined, Lycca buckled herself down and studied until she couldn't see straight. The year went by far slower than she had wanted, but it was finally over and she had done relatively well, as opposed to her previous records.

It was when she was twelve, that her life really took off. Her mother gave to her, her very first bow. Lycca was overjoyed. She adored archery, so this weapon was what really made her day. The following days she focused entirely on archery. She only had a few arrows, but they were fine against cans and the small bottles she tried them on. She cherished that bow. So, as her mother settled down with her step-father, Lycca wasn't bothered. Her days were spent in the backyard.

When she hit 15, she found a new ability that she had: magic. She was enthralled. Actually, she was more than that, but words couldn't escape her. Her mother was also wordless, but in a different way. Unsure how to deal with her now-magical child, she searched north and south for a tutor or someone to teach her about the world of mages. It was a difficult task, but a nice older man took up the offer and helped hone Lycca's magic with basic teaching. However, he soon went near-insane from Lycca's constant backfires and at one point got fed up stating clearly "No guild would want something like you," before abruptly leaving.

Lycca was heart-broken and a year passed before she even tried magic again, but she felt incomplete. Not much more time passed, before another mage, an old man with a crooked smile, told her something key. She had to focus her magic around an item. She was a holder, which was why her magic before hadn't worked at all. At last, Lycca had something of a footing. Before he vanished, he was kind enough to suggest that she never let her hopes fall and to pursue her goals, no matter how impossible they seem. He also snuck in a hint of a guild that she might do well in. One and a half years later, Lycca joined the Fairy Tail guild and hasn't looked back since.
